Sketch of Hades on his throne

Regal and solemn, Hades reclined on his throne, holding his two-pronged bident in one hand. His robes were dark as night, woven of the shades of the damned, and a crown of obsidian and flame rested on his head. His face, though—Kronos hadn’t seen him for millennia; the last time was when— but a parent never forgets their child.

“Son of Poseidon,” Hades intoned. “You have something in your possession which belongs to me.”
